Aisha jamila Hinds is an American actress for more than an entire decade. Her appearances include The Shield as well as True Blood. She has proven her versatility since 2003 by delivering impressive performances in TV shows such as 9-1-1 Detroit, 1-8-7, and Under the Dome. She was first noticed for her role as Anna in 2005's film Assault on Precinct 13. But it was her performance as feminist activist Fannie Lou Hamer in the biographical film All the Way that finally made her an actor. Bachchan's brother co-produced and co-wrote the script for Dil Ka Rishta with their mother. Arya Vidya Mandir was the school that Bachchan went to following her family's move to Mumbai. After completing her intermediate studies at Jai Hind College, she enrolled at D.G. Ruparel College Matunga, where she was able to score a 90 percent in her H.S.C. exams. She was a classical music student and dance for five years in her teens. Zoology was her favorite subject. Bachchan was a student of architecture when she won the title of Miss World 1994. The title helped her get into the modeling industry. In 2003, she received attractive jobs at PepsiCo Inc. as well as Vogue magazine. She also signed a contract as model for L'Oreal Paris spokesmodel. The two first films of her career were Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya and Iruvar. Bachchan's New Bollywood was boosted by the fact that both films are a departure from typical Bollywood structure. The actress became the first Indian actress to serve on the jury of Cannes Film Festival during the same year. Bachchan appeared part of Gurinder Chedha's Bride and Prejudice. This ballet and musical adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice is directed by Gurinder. Bachchan was able to bring her beauty and star power in her debut English film. In 2006, she returned to Bollywood by starring in the hit movie Dhoom: 2 before releasing Provoked: The True Story (2006). She was married to Abhishek Bachchan, who is a co-star who is the child of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan. This marriage has brought two of India's most prominent people to one another.
